Bernu Aero Upholstered Beam Seating System

Bernu Aero is a high-performance tandem seating system developed for demanding waiting areas. The aerodynamic form provides long-term ergonomic support while maintaining a refined aesthetic suitable for contemporary airport terminals and hospital waiting rooms.

The system allows designers to mix materials, integrate accessories and incorporate USB or GPO charging within the beam structure. Configurations can be tailored to suit departure lounges, emergency departments, outpatient clinics and public service centres.

Bernu Aero meets stringent fire performance standards including CAL 133 in North America and BS 5852 in Europe, making it suitable for regulated public building environments.

Straight or Curved Beams

Available in both linear and curved beam configurations. Curved layouts create dynamic flow within airport concourses, while straight beams optimise seat density and circulation planning.

Integrated Power & Charging

Passenger connectivity is fully integrated with AC power, USB-A, USB-C and wireless charging. Power can be installed at seat level or integrated into optional table modules with inPower Flex units.

Modular Finishes & Materials

Bernù Aero is available in upholstered, perforated metal, polyurethane and wood finishes. Seats and backs are modular, allowing mix-and-match combinations across premium lounges and standard gate seating.
